Removing the finished compost from a domestic wormery that turns household waste into fertiliser. After emptying the compost is spread thinly and a heap is made in the centre. The worms all burrow into the heap, the remaining compost is bagged up and the heap used as a starter for the next batch. A handful of the starter with a few worms shown here.
