Tibetan monk Palden Gyatso shown with some of the torture instruments including Chinese made electroshock and thumbcuffs used on him by the Chinese authorities while imprisoned for more than 33 years for his support of Tibetan autonomy. Palden Gyatso bought these from his guards after his release and then walked to freedom across the mountains through Nepal to India.
