About 50 protesters went into the store wearing or bringing clothes to give away or swap and exchanged them with each other and with some shoppers in a protest against consumerism.Store security quickly arrived and ignored the protest but rapidly prevented the photographers from covering it. This was done very roughly. One woman photographer was manhandled and grabbed by the breasts. After considerable pressure from the NUJ the store apologised.I was manhandled roughly, thrown out and told that I was banned from Top Shop, 29 Nov 2011.
