Caves, Guadix, Granada, Spain 1989. First dug by gypsies 1,000 yrs ago, this cave network now houses a cosmopolitan mix. The soft local rock is easily hollowed out and several hundred people live in these warm but damp homes cut into the hillside. Some have fridges tv etc. Others are damp burrows without water or drains.
