Clearcutting forest on Vancouver Island by Interfor, a very large logging company.

Clearcutting forest at East Main, near Gold River, Vancouver Island. Mostly Western Red Cedar & Hemlock are cut for sawmills & pulping for paper. The felled timber is dragged through the woodlands on steel cables causing irreversible damage to the habitat.
