Mephedrone or methedrone (4-methylmethcathinone or 4-MMC) is a synthetic psychoactive drug of the phenethylamine, amphetamine, and cathinone chemical classes. It produces stimulant effects that are comparable to drugs such as MDMA (ecstasy) and methylone.Picture shows one gram of the drug costing GBP 12 -18 in UK 2009.
